LudoSport York: Light Saber Combat Classes
Looking for something active, social, and different in York?
LudoSport teaches structured light saber combat in a friendly weekly class at Huntington School. You don't need previous experience, specialist kit, or a high level of fitness to start.
You will learn exciting techniques, train with other newcomers, build confidence, and become part of a welcoming local group, and an incredible international community now spanning across the globe.

What is LudoSport?
LudoSport is a modern combat sport using the iconic light saber weapon. You will learn different techniques, footwork, attacks, defences, and controlled sparring in a safe and supportive class, all created with fun and enjoyment in mind.
The sport was established in 2006, in Milan, by three founders with a background in martial arts. They decided one day to put their expertise to use in a different way, and create a sport with seven different Forms of combat, using three different types of weapon; The Long Saber, Dual Sabers and the Saberstaff.
It is not roleplay, cosplay, or stage fighting. It is a physical, skill-based activity with an amazing social community.
