LudoSport Leeds: Beginner Lightsaber Combat Classes in Chapel Allerton
Looking for something active, social, and genuinely different in Leeds?
LudoSport Leeds teaches structured lightsaber combat in a friendly weekly class at Chapel Allerton Methodist Hall. You do not need previous experience, specialist kit, or a high level of fitness to start.
You will learn real techniques, train with other beginners, build confidence, and become part of a welcoming local club.

What is LudoSport?
LudoSport is a modern combat sport using the lightsaber. You will learn structured techniques, footwork, attacks, defence, and controlled sparring in a safe and supportive class.
It is not roleplay, cosplay, or stage fighting. It is a physical, skill-based activity with a strong social side.
Is LudoSport Leeds for you?
No experience needed
You do not need martial arts experience, previous training, or specialist kit.

What happens at a Discovery Session?
A Discovery Session is your first chance to try LudoSport Leeds and see whether the class is right for you.
You will meet the instructors, learn the basics safely, and try simple beginner drills using one of our combat lightsabers.
You will not be expected to know what you are doing before you arrive.

What happens after your Discovery Session?
If you enjoy your Discovery Session and want to keep training, the next step is to join the weekly LudoSport Leeds class.
The class trains on Thursdays from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Chapel Allerton Methodist Centre. Membership is currently £50 per month and gives you a regular weekly place in class.
You do not need to decide before you arrive. Come and try the session, meet the instructors, and see whether it feels right for you.

Your Discovery Session will be led by friendly, experienced LudoSport instructors who will help you get started safely and confidently.
We will explain what to do, guide you through the basics, and make sure you feel welcome from the moment you arrive.

Daniel runs LudoSport Leeds and helps new students build confidence with clear, structured coaching. He focuses on making classes welcoming, safe, and easy to follow for beginners.
